Dental Implants

Missing one or more teeth? Dr. Matonti specializes in permanent tooth restoration using dental implants!

Dental implants offer long-lasting and natural-looking results by using titanium posts implanted into the jawbone where luminous crowns can then be attached. They also require no dietary restrictions and are built to last for life.

We offer the following dental implant systems:

  • Single Dental Implants
  • All-on-4® Dental Implants
  • Hybrid Dental Implants
  • Overdentures

Bone Grafting

Periodontal disease can take a toll on your oral health, weakening the jaw bone to the point where it can’t support a dental implant without first undergoing specialized treatment to strengthen it. If you are suffering from this condition, Dr. Matonti may recommend bone grafting, also known as natural bone regeneration, to promote bone growth in the jaw. With this specialized treatment, your jaw bone will begin to regenerate and strengthen itself enough to support a dental implant.

Tooth Extractions

Tooth extractions can help maintain your optimal oral health by preventing future dental concerns from arising, such as with wisdom tooth removal, or maintain your healthy smile in an emergency procedure after trauma or injury.

Dr. Matonti provides extractions for patients who are experiencing pain and discomfort, or who have an infection caused by a tooth that is damaged beyond repair. In some cases, a surgical extraction may be required, but simple extractions can generally be performed if the tooth appears above the gum line. Before any extraction, you’ll receive a careful dental exam from Dr. Matonti, who will also take digital x-rays to determine the extent of the damage.

Dental Collagen Plugs

After tooth extractions, Dr. Matonti will place a dental collagen plug in the socket. We’re always looking for ways to increase the comfort of our patients, and this helps us minimize the chances of a painful dry socket occurring.

Root Canal Therapy

diagram showing how a root canal worksRoot canal treatment is performed to remove infected areas of the soft, inner section of the tooth, known as the pulp. When these areas become infected, it can cause significant pain, and eventually death of the entire tooth. A root canal can allow for proper healing and further strengthening of the tooth.

Matonti Dental works to detect when root canal therapy is needed to stop an infection in its tracks before it has the chance to spread through the bloodstream to the rest of the body. After treating the infection, Dr. Matonti will top off the tooth with a luminous, natural-looking dental crown. We make our crowns on the very same day in our state-of-the-art, on-site laboratory to maximize the efficiency of this process!

Surgical Gum Contouring

Matonti Dental provides surgical gingival recontouring to patients who have concerns about their gum lines when they smile. Dr. Matonti is skilled at using advanced dental surgical tools to reshape gum tissue, banishing uneven gum lines and "gummy smiles." This process can improve both the appearance and the health of your gums!
