On Wednesday, September 23rd, Dr. Robyn Matonti donated over 50 clear face coverings to Seacrest County Day School that are reusable and Covid19 safe. The masks were specifically donated to the teachers and team members of the Naples, FL school, who are directly involved with the daycare programs Baby Rays (0-1 years), One Fish (1-2 years) and Two Fish (2-3 years) programs at Seacrest.
Dr. Robyn Matonti is a local Naples Dentist who understands the immense importance our mouths play in the learning and development of children. Our facial expressions and annunciations aid in the development of infants and toddlers as they learn speech and language.
The clear face masks will protect the staff and children while allowing the daycare students to visually see their teachers mouths while speaking, reading books, and many other activities that directly affect the development of their speech and language.
Dr. Robyn Matonti also has an active role in other philanthropic endeavors. Dr. Matonti proudly volunteers at the nonprofit Panira Healthcare Clinic, which helps provide free and low-cost-services to uninsured, low-income and unemployed in Naples. Dr. Matonti has donated dental chairs and other equipment to Panira to help build their dental capabilities.
Additionally, Dr. Matonti previously joined a dental volunteer trip to the Dominican Republic and helped less fortunate Dominicans with dental procedures they would normally not be able to receive. In all, Dr. Matonti and her colleagues provided nearly $1,000,000 worth of treatment to those in the most need.
